Auction Bid Types

WOLVERINE GUNS & TACKLE and its associates provide their services to you subject to the following conditions. If you visit or use our Online Auction please be sure to recognize and agree to our Terms of Use as stated below.

• Manual Bids - How it Works

  This Bid Type and Amount is ONLY a 1 Time Bid. If you are OUTBID by someone else and you are still interested in this Item, you will need to place another Bid to get back into the Auction.

  If you would like to be notified if someone has OUTBID you on your Item, You can Login to your Admin area and adjust your Notification Settings by going to My Account / My Auction / Configuration. You can change these Notification Settings at any time.

• Automatic Bids

  The Automatic Bid function allows you to place a Bid on any Item(s) automatically. Select the maximum amount you will pay for the Item(s), and our system will automatically place your bid for you if you are outbid by someone else. If the system can win your item(s) for less than your maximum Automatic Bid price .. it will !

  If you are outbid by another Automatic Bidder, you can select to be notified by eMail Here and increase your bid. You can Login to your Admin area and adjust your Notification Settings by going to My Account / My Auction / Configuration. You can change these Notification Settings at any time.

• Automatic Bids - How it Works.

  Lets say the current price of an Item is $100.00. You are only willing to Bid/Pay a maximum of $250.00 for this item so you set your Max Automatic Bid at $250.00. Lets say Bill A. places a bid for $110.00 If the Auction has $5.00 Bid Increments, the system will automatically place a Bid on your behalf for $115.00, and make you the Top Bidder. Lets say Sally T. places a Bid for $130.00, then the system will automatically place a Bid on your behalf for $135.00, and make you the Top Bidder.

  You will be able to Automatically Outbid all Bidders until you reach your Maximum Bid threshold. If someone Bids $255.00, you will need to increase your Automatic Bid, or you will loose this auction to another Bidder. If you are outbid by another Automatic Bidder, you can select to be notified by eMail Here and increase your bid. You can Login to your Admin area and adjust your Notification Settings by going to My Account / My Auction / Configuration. You can change these Notification Settings at any time.

• COUNTDOWN TIMER FINAL BIDS

  If a Bid is placed in the final minute of the Auction, the Timer will reset itself to add 2 more minutes to the Auction. This allows all Bidders with a slower Internet Connection to participate in the Final moments of the Auction.
